Origin Stories: CAPTAIN DORITO (this is part 1) (part 2 out next week or something)
All new Lupin III TV series coming Japan and Italy in 2015!
Hold on to your hats folks, because this is BIG news!
A new Lupin III TV series is on its way both Japan and Italy. The series features a blue-jacket wearing Lupin, much like in the recent Takeshi Koike spin-off feature film, The Gravestone of Daisuke Jigen.
The story of the new series will take place in Italy and San Marino. The series is set to have its world premiere on Italy’s RTI channel next spring.
The show will feature a lovely new art style and much of the exciting, humorous hi-jinx seen in the 1977 - 1980 Shin Lupin series. It looks like all the gang will be making an appearance, including Inspector Zenigata and the Fiat 500!
While the series has only just been announced and only a couple of images have been shown to the public, a list of the key staff has been revealed. All of this information is coming from MIPCOM, a TV and entertainment festival that is held in Cannes, France each year.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Those Italians are so freaking lucky with their premiere. Then again, it’s a given, seeing as they’re the country with the largest concentration of non-Japanese Lupin III fans.
HOLY CRAP SO EXCITED!!!!! :D
The Endless Emotions In A Random Run Cycle
In this music video, a character run cycle is repeated over and over again. Everything else in the frame — the backgrounds, effects, etc. — is completely redesigned each time the run cycle resets. It’s amazing how swapping out these seemingly secondary elements can completely change the emotion of the animation. It’s also a great reminder that EVERY part of the animation process is equally important!
Note: The song is Transfer, by Livetune, with vocals by Japanese voice actress Nakajima Megumi. The animation was done by Fantasista Utamaro and Kubotabee.
