Let me talk to you about Pokemon.

Pokemon was something that I saw as a kid, was immediately removed from due to Christian to-do at the time, and then never really got into as a grew up. I have a good deal of friends who are into Pokemon, and even now as an adult I can’t really see myself become invested in it.

But, despite my joking about it from time to time, I don’t hate Pokemon. It’s just something that never captured my imagination like it did everyone else. I will say that despite never becoming a die-hard fan and wanting to collect and train, there are some aspects about Pokemon that I do like. Most prominently, it’s the designs.

I haven’t really paid much attention to later iterations of Pokemon, only seeing the ones that my friends bring up to me, but I’ve always found the overall design choices that the team at Game Freak were able to put together to be really nice and just interesting all around. There’s some that I like more than others, but for the most part, even less fleshed out ones have a spark of creativity to them.

I love that sort of thing.
