Can someone please explain to me why Makoto is always placing his backpack in front of him like that. IT’S SO CUTE. HE’S PROBABLY KEEPING SOMETHING REALLY SPECIAL IN THERE.

I just think it’s cute that each character has little quirks like that, ones that the animators actually follow through from scene to scene with not just draw once and forget.
