It’s also worth pointing out that when Steven slapped Garnet, it was basically him slapping both Ruby and Sapphire. I’d always questioned why she got SO PISSED right here. Granted, I mean Steven slaps her but I thought it was weird that Garnet, usually so calm even when she IS hurt, reacts so strongly here. Thanks to the episode showing that she is a fusion, I finally think I understand. Naturally, the reason we see the extreme rise in aggression in Garnet so suddenly is because of Ruby and Sapphire’s anger at seeing one another get attacked by someone they trusted. Which is exactly why Pearl says ‘He didn’t know what he was doing.’

1. nobody gives a shit. nobody cares unless it directly effects them, so don’t worry. chances are people are too busy worrying about their own bullshit to notice your fly is down. wear what you like. do what you like.
2. being friendly is very important. strive to be the person you wish you had around when you were in a bad spot in life. you never know what doors kindness will open.
3. nobody is compatible with every aspect of you. you can have your dorkin out friends and your art friends and your friends you talk to about deep shit and your friends who you just talk about the weather with and just because they dont overlap doesnt mean you or they are bad people
4. do not play sonic boom. sonic boom is a bad game. any amount of time or money you put into sonic boom is too much. i beat sonic boom co-op six hours ago and im still emotionally spent. do not play sonic boom. sonic boom is a bad, bad game. sonic boom is bad.
